I completed my first payment in installments application online

What do I do now?

I received an email from Leanpay about my FIRST successful install with the payment application (*example below). Leanpay also notified the online store at the same time.

If I have already applied for payment in installments in the past but have not been successful, for example after further verification, or have not been completed because I have resigned from my contract before taking over, this is my first successful application.
If it's my second purchase and I'm already a certified Leanpay user, the procedure below doesn't apply to me.
If I have questions about when the purchase or the like will be delivered, I need to contact the online store.

I received a similar message on the SMS. I also received an SMS message with a verification code, which I can't pass on to others - and I must save the code.

The following steps are:

  1. Since I am working with Leanpay for the first time, I must take over the purchase in person (when delivered home, at the post office, or from the dealer...). Correct pick-up in the package is not possible.
  2. I must carry a valid identity document with a picture (identity card, passport) issued by one of the Administrative Units of the Republic of Slovenia.
  3. On pick-up:
    • if the delivery man or dealer/seller uses the Leanpay ID application ("VF app"), the identification process is carried out by telling my Verification Code and identifying myself with an ID, and the person identifying me follows the instructions in the VF application.
      • CAUTION: If any of my key information does not match or cannot be properly valid, my Leanpay information is incorrect, and I cannot complete the purchase. In this case, I contact Leanpay by e-mail at krediti@leanpay.si and carry out the correct procedure for transmitting the correct information. The problem will be addressed by Leanpay during working hours and per available options. Leanpay does not provide an immediate resolution to the problem.
  4. If the delivery man or dealer/seller uses the method of identification and control of the data with a paper verification sheet, I shall verify my information on the verification sheet document and certify that they are correct and true by signing it. The information and my identity document are also compared and verified, and the verification sheet is also signed by the person from whom I will take over the purchase and who has verified that I am the right addressee, with an insight into my identity document.
  5. It's only after successful identification and verification of the data that I can take over the purchase.
  6. After receiving a duly completed Verification Sheet or after verification with the Leanpay VF application, Leanpay will carry out final data checks per the General Terms of Use (the time required for this step may depend on the time of the return of the paper Verification Sheet):
    • If my information in the online application matches Leanpay's data control, I will receive a signed payment in installments credit agreement from Leanpay – and thus my first install payment is finalized. Only the timely repayment of the commitments will follow.
    • ATTENTION - as I have been warned in the online application process and by the General Terms of Use that I have confirmed - if I will not be able to explain the data mismatch (according to Leanpay) satisfactorily, Leanpay will not be able to enter into a credit agreement and I will have to pay otherwise. In that case, Leanpay will give me instructions on how to proceed.

As a user, I have already confirmed the contract in the process online, and I do not have to do anymore about it. Leanpay can only confirm the contract after final data control (step 5 above).
