Who can use Leanpay services?

Leanpay's basic service is to allow payment in installments when purchasing a higher value (how?) in an online or physical store (where?).

Leanpay allows* this service, per the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy:

  1. nationals of the Republic of Slovenia (I must have a valid** identity document issued by one of the Administrative Units of the Republic of Slovenia), and
  2. individuals who are:
    • full-time employees, or
    • part-time or part-time employees, or
    • regular employees or operators in our s.p. (in different industries), but in this case, we must have and use a transaction account (TRR/IBAN) of a natural person with appropriately demonstrated regular receipts, and we cannot use TRR s.p. or
    • pensioners; and
  3. people over the age of 18 and have not yet reached the age of 74, and
  4. persons with demonstrable regular monthly remuneration above a certain limit***, and with existing indebtedness below a certain limit***, following Leanpay credit policy
    • Caution: if I meet conditions 1,2 and 3, and have never applied for payment in installments payment to Leanpay, I can check for Leanpay to meet condition 4 easily in a few minutes with the Check My Limit procedure, and
  5. in any event, only persons whose data can be verified in the Sisbon Central Credit Register (this cannot be verified in advance, but only in each actual application for payment in installments, so the information under the 'Check my limit' procedure is in no way a guarantee of approval and does not constitute any commitment to Leanpay).

The service is (currently) not possible and can be rejected by Leanpay at its sole discretion for:

  1. nationals of other countries,
  2. persons without employment or with regular monthly benefits below a certain limit,
  3. sole proprietors, d.o.o. or other companies, or legal persons
  4. persons whose main activity is agriculture****,
  5. students****,
  6. persons who have past due payments to Leanpay, or have been late with Leanpay or other lenders in the past, according to Sisbon, or show negative events in Sisbon,
  7. persons who, according to Leanpay, showed signs of attempted abuse or fraud, whether at Leanpay or elsewhere,
  8. persons whose data cannot be verified in Sisbon.

Notes:

* By providing the service to Leanpay, it does not in any way provide me with the granting of credit or limit for installments, which for each application depends on Leanpay's assessment of my creditworthiness per Leanpay's credit policy.

** The identity document must be current when I identify myself as a borrower - either in the physical store before and before the credit application is made, or at the time of personal identification before the pick-up of the goods, I ordered online. This means that the ID must be valid for 90 days at the time of purchase online.

The thresholds and other elements of the creditworthiness assessment are a trade secret and may be amended at any time by a unilateral Leanpay decision.

For those with that activity, Leanpay may provide the service in the future, but it does not currently offer it.
