How do I use Leanpay payments in installments in an online store?
After I decided to buy from an online store, put the products in a basket, and when presented with payment methods, simply as a payment option I choose "Leanpay – pay in installments".
In the new window, I choose the number of meals you want from the options offered (for example, 6, 12, 18, 24, 36, or 48 installments, depending on the offer of the store) and the desired day of the month to pay for meals.
In Standard Preliminary Information, I can read all the details of the credit, including a detailed cost and payment plan. If I agree to the terms, I continue and, in the next step, enter a one-time OTP ("one-time password" in the process (I receive it on my phone via SMS).
The information needed for immediate assessment by Leanpay on whether a credit application can progress to the steps to enter the contract will enter the data in only two next steps - first personal, then financial information. I won't have to enter the data in future purchases anymore, but I will only be able to change it by requesting Leanpay to update the data. It is important that the information entered is true and accurate, as false, or false information makes it impossible to enter a credit agreement and criminal and tort liability. Leanpay immediately shows me the next step whether a purchase in installments is possible or not - and, if possible, what are the next steps for:
- review and confirmation of the contract documentation
- my identification document at the time of purchase
- final assessment by Leanpay, confirmation of the transaction, and the valid conclusion of the contract.
In the process, in a small number of cases, there may be a request for additional verification or submission of documentation - in this case, I follow the instructions on the screen.
With large purchase amounts, a deposit may be required, so I must have my payment (debit or credit) card ready, which I can use to buy online.
