What if the buyer does not have a smartphone?

To use Leanpay services, the customer must have his mobile phone and a working phone number. Without this, the use of services is not possible.

According to the Leanpay  Terms of Use, the Leanpay service is only possible if the customer has their own, working mobile phone, on which they can receive short messages - SMS, and enter data for Leanpay on it. As a buyer, he must also have a working mobile phone number, which serves as the buyer's username.

The customer is solely responsible for the security of the mobile phone and thus for the security of access to personal data on the Leanpay platform via this phone and phone number.

Using a foreign phone and phone number to get the customer to use the Leanpay service is a violation of the Terms of Use and may also constitute a criminal offense.

Excerpt from Terms of Use:

To use the Leanpay services, the user needs access to a mobile phone for exclusive use, on which he receives the One Time Password each time for verification, as well as other important notifications for the correct use of the Leanpay service. Consequently, it is essential that the data on the associated mobile number is correct, and that you immediately inform us of any changes to this data. The User/Borrower is fully responsible for using the mobile phone safely in connection with the Leanpay service and for not allowing access to it by other persons. In the case of providing the wrong number, neglecting the duty to take care of security, or neglecting the duty to inform, we cannot assume any negative consequences of using or abusing the Leanpay service.
