How do I fix an error entering my data?

If I have an error entering personal or financial information, I will correct it according to the procedure below. By the General Conditions, I am responsible for the correctness of my information. How to correct a mistake depends on what information it is and when I find out I made a mistake.

1. I DISCOVERED THE ERROR AFTER CONFIRMING PERSONAL DATA WITH THE "CONTINUE" BUTTON IN THE PROCESS OF APPLYING FOR AN INSTALMENT PAYMENT OR IN THE PROCESS OF 'VERIFYING MY LIMIT', AND BEFORE THE STEP OF ENTERING FINANCIAL DATA

In this case, I simply terminate the application and start the process from the beginning. I will be able to enter the correct information on the personal data entry screen.

2. I DISCOVERED THE ERROR AFTER I ENTERED FINANCIAL INFORMATION USING THE "CONTINUE" BUTTON DURING THE PROCESS OF APPLYING FOR AN INSTALMENT PAYMENT OR IN THE PROCESS OF 'VERIFYING MY LIMIT'

On the next screen, I'll have the option to go back and correct the data with the "change financial information" button:

I also see a clear warning on this screen that I must enter the real and correct information, otherwise, a credit agreement cannot be validly concluded. In this case:

  • the purchase object cannot be received
  • If there is still a takeover of the purchased item before the error is corrected, I am obliged to return or pay the purchase by other means, without a Leanpay credit.

3. I DISCOVERED THE ERROR AFTER I HAD ALREADY CONFIRMED THE "FINANCIAL DATA REVIEW" OR AFTER, BASED ON LEANPAY DATA INSTALLED IN THE APPLICATION, I HAD DISPLAYED THE TEXT OF THE CONTRACT AND CONFIRMED THE CONTRACT WITH INCORRECT INFORMATION (WITH THE "CONFIRM" BUTTON) - OR I DETECTED THE ERROR AFTER LEANPAY HAD ALREADY SENT ME A TEXT FROM MY WEBSITE OF THE INCORRECT EMAILED CONTRACT

(at least one of my personal or financial information is incorrect in the contract)

A contract may not be concluded if it contains incorrect information, so it is my responsibility:

  1. IMMEDIATELY initiate withdrawal following the instructions here
    (This step is not necessary if I was only in the process of "Check my limit").
  2. Immediately request a correction of the data following the instructions here (applies to the error in the procedure "check your limit" in the same way as in the process of actual purchase with installment payment); and
  3. follow the instructions in the app or other route by Leanpay to correct the data correction correctly.

The key data are:

  • name, surname, address, and date of birth.
  • the mobile phone number I use (which serves my username at Leanpay).
  • the identity document number and the date of validity of the identification document.
  • tax and transaction account number (No TRR / IBAN).
  • the e-mail address I use and where I receive messages and documents.
  • the status of employment and the amount of regular monthly benefits.
  • the amount of regular monthly expenditure on the settlement of loans and leasing.

Once I have confirmation from Leanpay that both procedures above (withdrawal and data change) have been completed and the data has been corrected, I can make a new purchase application with the correct information.

Attention: in some cases, Leanpay will require further evidence to correct the data, as this prevents attempts at abuse and fraud.
